Key Personnel are delighted to be working with a large public sector organisation in Tayside in the recruitment of a Housing Officer on a fixed term contract.

The main purpose of the role of Housing Officer will be to provide a comprehensive housing management service to all customers. This will include sharing owners, owner-occupiers, supported tenants, and mainstream tenants.

Responsibilities will include;

  • Allocations, Lettings, Void, Anti-Social Behaviour and Income Management;
  • Working with the Income Management team to effectively manage rent arrears cases;
  • Carry out viewings and lettings, ensuring the Tenancy Agreement is fully explained;
  • Investigate and resolve any neighbour anti-social behavior complaints.

The candidate will have;

  • Knowledge of Data Protection, Equalities & Diversity and Health & Safety Acts;
  • Experience and knowledge of the statutory and voluntary Housing sectors, including relevant and current Housing legislation;
  • Experience of using Microsoft packages and computer systems, including experience of using housing databases;
  • Experience of working with other landlords or similar bodies.
