The Accessibility Steward Volunteer provides accessibility information to spectators within and around the perimeter of the venue, answering questions to the best of your ability and seeking out the answers to unknown questions using available recourses.

Roles and Responsibilities 

The role of Accessibility Steward Volunteers is to provide accessibility information to spectators across site. Accessibility Volunteers can be expected to carry out the following duties:

  • Deal appropriately with personal and sensitive information regarding spectators disabilities.
  • Full training will be provided as well as Frequently Answered Questions (FAQ) documents to assist communicating with the public. Information on evacuation plans for your specific area will also be provided.

Experience

  • Experience working within accessibility/care/elderly/disability would be beneficial.
  • Experience in communicating with customers at any level.
  • Golf/general event experience would be beneficial.
