The Steward Supervisor role will oversee and manage the steward deployment plan across The Open venue. You will be part of a team of 4 Steward Supervisors who will be managing a team of 51 Stewards.
Roles and Responsibilities
The role of Steward Supervisor will be to oversee and manage the Steward programme across The Open. Our Steward Supervisors can be expected to carry out the following duties:
- Provide the steward teams clear instructions for the duration of their shift. Support the stewards if unsure of anything.
- Keep the stewards enthused during the week of the Championship.
- Oversea the distribution of the spectator leaflets across the venue.
- Provide directional support to spectators and answer questions of spectators.
Experience
- Event experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Experience in providing excellent customer service.
- Experience managing large numbers of staff.
