ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of Accessibility Volunteers is to provide accessibility information to spectators across site. Accessibility Volunteers can be expected to carry out the following duties:

  • Deal appropriately with personal and sensitive information regarding spectators disabilities.
  • Full training will be provided as well as Frequently Answered Questions (FAQ) documents to assist communicating with the public. Information on evacuation plans for your specific area will also be provided.

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working within accessibility/care/ elderly/ disability would be beneficial.
  • Experience in communicating with customers at any level.
  • Golf/general event experience would be beneficial.

 

SKILLS

  • Self-motivated and proactive and ready to work as part of a small team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Friendly and welcoming manner, with a high standard of customer service.
