We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced SVQ/NVQ Tutor Assessor to join our client’s team. My client is a national company who have been graded as “good” by Ofsted and deliver training to over 2500 learners every year. They serve a customer base of local, national and international companies with programmes leading to the achievement of nationally recognised Vocational Qualififcations, Apprenticeships, Traineeships and Scottish Modern Apprenticeships.

The role of Tutor Assessor will be home based where you will be responsible for visiting and working with learners in their place of employment delivering a combination of Modern Apprenticeships.

Ideally you will have experience in delivering training in Business Admin, Management, Warehousing and logistics and be willing to travel.

The main competencies required for this role are, Management, Business Administration, Warehouse & Storage and Logistics Management. Experience of delivering Core Skills and knowledge of electronic portfolios would be desirable.

Some of the required skills and abilities to perform this role include the ability to:

  • MUST have A1 and ideally V1 accreditation
  • Communicate at all levels within a business.
  • Motivate individuals through achievement of their qualification and the understanding of how to set SMART targets.
  • Demonstrate good levels of numeracy and literacy to support learners.
  • Motivate yourself and manage your own diary.
  • Work to and meet set targets in delivery
  • Competency within the new Management Standard

A company laptop, phone and mileage allowance will be provided.  Applicants must have a full clean drivers licence and access to their own vehicle – business travel insurance will be required to apply for this role.

Package

Salary: £21,000 - £23,000
